The Real World Riding Ethos
Within almost all riders there is a better rider inside just waiting to have the confidence to jump out. By carefully adding to the understanding of the skills and techniques coached with a growing body of managed positive experiences, we’ve been able to bring this skill out in riders consistently, and then improve further. This confidence building process comes from years of personal development training, and works for newcomers to the sport setting up a good foundation, as well as it does for those with more specific and advanced needs, as indeed it does for those coming back from a bad experience. Mtb Guiding
The overall aim of Real World riding is to give riders everything they need to get themselves out in the mountains (if they wish!) on their bikes. Being a British Cycling and MIAS qualified Leader, and a qualified Mountaineering Instructor means that the RWR service can extend well outside the trail centre and out into the mountains. We’ve specialised in big mountain riding from the start, and Munros are only the start of this.
If you’re looking for that advanturous ride, and want to do it with the security of having someone who is totally at home there, whatever the conditions, and has the skills and experience not just to take care of the navigation, and route finding, but to take care of any unexpected things on the way, and importantly to teach you as much as you want too.

The rates above are for all guiding and coaching activity, so you can even mix. For trips we’ll give you a clear quote for the transport and living costs – you can choose 5Star luxury, but you’ll see we keep our costs to you down as much as possible.
